271. Munich | H'ugo's

I've been neglecting this city so far for my vacation posts, so finally here are some photos of Munich. I stayed here for 3 days. I probably already mentioned this before but one of my friends from Germany (who lives in another city a few hours away) came to visit me when I was there. We met three years ago when he came on vacation to Toronto and stayed in my hotel. It was cool to meet up again, but for that reason I don't have a LOT of photos from here since I didn't want to act all touristy snapping photos of literally everything like I normally do hahah. Well, I still did it..to a controlled extent.


On my last night here we went to this place called H'ugo's for drinks and pizza. I was told it's the best pizza in Munich. I'm not a huge fan of pizza but I think this tasted better than any I've had in Toronto so far.

It was the perfect spot in front of the city hall and tourist central (like all the main Squares of any city usually are). Met a family of friendly Americans at the next table.



Preppy mannequins in a store window. I noticed a lot of boys dress like this in Germany..well the bright red or green pants look seems popular for boys throughout Europe but the Germans dress more preppy - like they just walked out of a Ralph Lauren catalog.

    Lovely photos! I find that European style is about 2-3 years ahead of north america's...

    Guys will probably be dressing very preppy here in the next few years!! I don't mind tho- I like preppy!

    Wow, Munich! I love Munich, I was there last few years for the October Fest.. I like the dancing figurines at the clock tower, I waited to see it twice before my husband dragged me away LOL! Thanks for dropping by my blog!

    hi - I love hotels too (sometimes I feel like I live in them permanently with all the traveling i do!) so love living vicariously through the pics you have. I was on your ABOUT ME page and I saw you had a pic from asia with all the rice paddies (I think that's what they were).... that pic was stunning - where was it taken? I want to add it to my must-see list! :)
