The Gladstone is a creative boutique hotel with rooms individually designed by different artists. The building is part art gallery and part hotel. Each room is unique and has its own theme - kind of reminded me of Hotel Fox where I stayed in Copenhagen. I love hotels like these! They give you the option of choosing which one you want to stay, based on availability of course. I stayed in one called Urban Voyageur. Check out their other rooms!
Here's my room (2nd photo taken from their site) - very cozy and rustic chic:
LOVED that they have tablets in every room
The mini-bar
Pharmacopia toiletries - scented like honey :)
The hallways of my floor - art all over the walls
The cafe and bar - really like the brick walls
The elevator is over 100 years old and hand-operated!

I like how the room looks so rustic-chic haha if that makes any sense at all and that's one cool elevator! Does it really work? Did you use it? Did it look hard to crank up? I think the hallways are pretty neat with all that artwork but at the same time I could see people stop on front of your room door and start having a in depth discussion about the art. Also it'd be pretty trippy to see if you were drunk hahaha
ReplyDeletere: I did contemplate on visiting my bf in Toronto but it just didn't pan out in the end =( and I forgot to mention this but Hennessy looks so cute in your newest post, especially the last photo when you're holding his new toy, how old is he btw?<-- did I ask this before? Sorry for my poor memory lol cause I feel like I ask you way too many questions =S
