409. Cluny Bistro

Cluny Bistro lunch
Since I haven't updated my blog in so long here's my second post of the night! Yesterday my sister and I went for lunch at Cluny Bistro. It's a fairly new French restaurant in the Distillery District. Their interiors are beautiful! I love restaurants in this style. I had the Classic Croque Madame (with extremely skinny fries) and she had the Charred Marinated Tofu salad.

It was a Monday afternoon so it was pretty empty in there. Great atmosphere.

My portion was pretty large and very filling. My sister's was the opposite, so we ended up sharing mine. I really love the fries here. They're extra skinny and the seasoning was really good.

    I loved the interior there! Had dinner there about a month ago - was quite nice and good food but our waitress was so chatty it was becoming a bit annoying and she never brought us our water which was funny. Oh well, but who needs water when there's wine, right? lol. their duck poutine was quite good too and I don't even like duck...

      lol that reminds me one time I was at a salon and the hairdresser kept forgetting to bring me some tea..she would leave and come back each time apologizing and then going to get it again...in the end I never received it and she went back and forth like 3 times. I didn't see duck poutine on the menu when I was there! maybe it was for just the dinner menu

    There's quite a difference in size between what your sister ordered and your Croque Madame! The CM looks delicious, I also like skinny fries :)

      yea they were both listed as main dishes but hers looked more like an appetizer lol
