So I didn't really do much for PDAC this year. I didn't think I was going to do anything for it actually..the most fun I ever had was the first couple years I ever went. The first year, we randomly stumbled into the parties at Royal York unsure of what it was. We pretended we were also in the mining industry when we met some UBC (?) students. We said we used root canal drills at our mining company. Then we met a lot of acquaintances who I now end up seeing (every year for the past 7 years) during those few days of PDAC. It's weird how I have been going for so long and I'm not even in the industry.

My friend invited me to this party on the first night at the Ripley's Aquarium. I think this one was put on by Silver Wheaton. At PDAC, all the major companies host parties everywhere around the city where all it's all open bar/food. We'd go to wherever we get invites to then end up at the Royal York "suite parties". This year I only went for like an hour or two though.
