432. Beijing | Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square

Crossing Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City off my bucket list:






Heading into Tiananmen Square into the Forbidden City. When I travel, I love visiting city "squares". Out of all the places I have ever gone, Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City were the most packed with hoards and hoards of tourists. It's HUGE there though..so luckily everyone can spread out a bit, but it was still extremely busy in there. I'm so glad I finally got to visit Tiananmen Square..I had been wanting to go for a long time. The Forbidden City was a lot larger than I expected. It would definitely take several days to explore every part of it. Here are the corridors leading into Forbidden City:












You're not allowed to walk inside any of the buildings..this is the only way to look inside. I didn't bother to for any of them though as there was way too many people as you can see.
