This has probably been one of the most eventful and fun months of my year so far. I've been really really busy..but in a good way. I am quite happy with my current stage in life right now in terms of work, personal and social life, but I wish time would slow down. Recently I've mostly been working my usual job(s), working on the new startup, cooking a lot of pumpkin things, going to the gym/yoga, long walks with Hennessy, stock research and trading, meeting new people, going out a lot, etc. I did renovations at my place in the beginning of this year. It's now October and I still haven't finished organizing everything (as I haven't gotten around to it) and there's still a few more pieces of furniture I have to buy. My goal before the end of this year is to get everything for that done. I can't believe summer is over already and that we're nearing the end of another year. I don't have any set plans yet for the holidays but hopefully will be going away somewhere at some point..
Anyways, here is a big post of what has been going on this month:
Recently I've been obsessed with everything pumpkin. You'd probably know this if you follow me on Instagram and/or Snapchat though lol. So far I've made 3 pumpkin cakes already and 1 pumpkin soup within the span of 2 weeks. I have a list of other pumpkin recipes I'm going to try (pumpkin risotto, pumpkin pie, pumpkin pasta, pumpkin ricotta stuffed pasta shells, etc etc etc). I have a very obsessive personality so once I like something..I go extreme with it. Oh and one thing I really want to do this year is pumpkin picking (on a farm of course)!
Last weekend I went to dinner at
Patria, a Spanish restaurant with a few friends. I've recently developed a love for everything Spanish. Mostly thanks to Despacito hahah. The tapas here were really good but the portions were tiny for the price we paid. I still really liked the restaurant though. The decor inside is very cool.
Here's a couple dishes we got. They're about $15-20 each which we felt was a bit overpriced.
I drank so much that night! =\ Starting with half a pitcher of Sangria.
On another night when the weather was perfect in the evening, I took Hennessy for a loooong walk around the harbourfront (my favourite area to walk him). I sat for over an hour just people watching, listening to music and thinking about life. Then a bunch of little kids came over and played with Hennessy for awhile. They were so cute.
I wish Snapchat filters were real life hahah. These days I am more active on social media so if you haven't yet, feel free to add me on Instagram/Snapchat! @leftbanked

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own blog
ReplyDeleteand was curious what all is required to get setup?
I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I'm not very internet smart so I'm not 100% certain. Any suggestions or
advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
A love for everything Spanish... :D
