This 41st creation of Cirque du Soleil tells the spellbinding story of the freedom to choose and the thrill of blazing your own trail. Taking inspiration from the adventurous spirit of action sports, the show weaves the adrenaline rush of acrobatics into a visually stunning world to captivate audiences.
Keeping with the show's theme of "transformation", Cirque took the opportunity to create a brand new VIP experience to suit the atmosphere and aesthetics of the newest creation. The VIP Suite consists of ten cubic blocks with glass walls and a flat roof. At the VIP lounge, guests can enjoy delicious passed hors d'oeuvres and cocktails from local Toronto caterer, 10tation Event Catering, before the show.
This was my absolute favourite. I could've eaten them all day.
Nori crisp, soy/miso king and oyster mushrooms, cured egg yolk and green onions.
Duck confit, amarena cherry and gorgonzola creme fraiche.
Itsumo ahi tuna, taro root taco, avocado salsa.
These vegan salads were amazing as well.
The live cooking station serving braised beef short ribs served on soft polenta with onion rings and orange gremolata.
Manchego and ricotta croquette, truffle honey, roasted figs.
I am a huge fan of the Cirque shows. Last year I attended the Luzia show and VIP experience as well. I look forward to watching this year's as well!
So cool that you regularly get CdS shows! Hope there will be one on when I'm visiting Toronto next.
